Training Participant Info Re: COVID-19

All participants in training through Active Source, Inc. are expected to be vaccinated against covid. If you have a couple, or few, or many people that need Wilderness & Remote First Aid training, and a location where the training might be held, please Contact Me so we can find a date to schedule a convenient session for you.

The MN governor announced changes to the pandemic guidelines today. After May 28, the only extra pandemic requirement for classes will be that participants wear masks. I am opening training sessions for everyone.

March 17, 2021
The MN governor announced changes to social distancing requirements on Friday, and the vaccine roll-out is progressing faster than planned, so most adults should be able to get vaccinated by June. I am opening training sessions for people that have been vaccinated.

The information distributed by the CDC and the Red Cross is being used to ensure appropriate environments at the training sessions.

• Participants that have signs of illness should reschedule their training to a later date.
• Participants will wear provided non-latex gloves.
• Participants will use provided, personal breathing barriers when practicing on manikins.
• Manikins will be wiped down with alcohol between uses.
• Individual-packaged snacks will be provided.
• Participants are encouraged to wash hands often.
